    The narrator went to the house of Usher because he was his only friend and the one who could help him.

    The house was old, horrible and gloomy.

    I'm not a fan of horror stories, but I have to be honest, I enoyed a lot read this story. It wansn't exactly how I imagine that it'll be. It wasn't too much scare, how I thought it'll be.

    Edgar Allan Poe is an awesome writer, one of my favorites, but I think that it isn't one of her best stories.
    PS: I read the original version long time ago, and like Sherjan's opinion, the vocabulary is a mindtwister.
